Hello, I have been installed windows Xp on my computer without any feil, but my system hanging down after 3 to 4 minuts. I have been tryed by changing Ram and after that by changing and installing xp on other harddisk with full formating, but the problem is still same..

Main problem is actually the taskbar is hanging down and no further things I can do. I mean if I have opend 3 internet sides and a my compute, so I can toggel b/w these by using Alt+Tab.

** If I want to open an other internet explorer window by clicking on internet explorer so I can't. It seem that I clicked on internet explorer but the explorer window not opening.

** If I want to install a program for example msn messenger so I can click on installation file but the installation process not started.

** I cant click on START button but start menu not opening and I have to shutdown computer directly.

** If I press Ctrl+Alt+Del but task menager is not opening.

After all I changed mouse, BUT MY PROBLEM STILL THERE.. no further execution. I can use the programs with Alt+Tab that I opend before hanging.

    i wonder??????????
Try reinstalling with a different disk that migh do it. You could be getting 'dirty' installations with the one u'r using. It's kinda like a lemon

Just a quick question. After the Xp install are you remembering to install all other mainboard and add on card drivers? It's amazing what chaos an incomplete install will create.
