Hi, After much reading I'm still not sure if this is safe. I want to buy a second 360 console so I can play via system link with my 3 kids. I'm not about to buy every game twice and want to mod my new console and use it strictly for copied games while in system link. Is this safe from being banned? Can MS detect a modded console and game through another console. We just want to play 4 player Nazi Zombies together. Thanx ps can I transfer dowloaded maps from one console to the other? again I don't want to pay twice for the same thing
if your first console as been online and the second console has not been online then you won't be able to play system link the game versions will not be the same as most game need a update when you go online
Well updates aren't a problem just delete it from online console or transfer to all, although you can't use latest dlc without it. I think there is a way to get new maps working without jtag. You will have to sign in on console that wasn't used to purchase dlc with a hacked gamertag that will allow you to load the maps, after you load game you can sign out of it and use your tag. You can find out more about this on youtube-google, search for black ops maps no jtag you will find something. And your stock console wouldn't get banned even if it would log a modded console during system link. The most would happen is ms would put the modded console on ban list, not the stock one since there is nothing to ban it for it is legit.
If the new box is not going online at all, then there is nothing to ban. They can not ban what they can not see.
