System resources

    is there any way of upgrading your system resource so that my pc wont freeze everytime i multitask?

    what is your system resources at just after windows is loaded

    it's at 62% free. My friend said that the only option i have is to upgrade my operating system, he said even if i upgrade my memory that still wont have any effect on my system resource is this true?

    check your msconfig/startup to see what is there as possible some things not needed at startup like msoffice or corel

    my startup has all the necessary programs i will probably just upgrade my operating system to xp right now i have windows me which sucks. Thanks for your help

    what speed is cpu, how much ram & how much free space on hd?

    cpu is 800, ram 256, free hd space is 7 gig and i used 2 gigs so far

    update your drivers from chipset manufacturers after upgrading to xp
