system restore cd on hp laptop

    My problem is when i insert my hp quickstore sytem recovery cd the cd does not autostart like to go to a setup page to resore comp back to factory settings.I have never done a sytem restore with these cds before so i dont know what to do....I tried clicking my computer then on the cd but i dunno what files to click on in the cd and like what to do.

    try boot off cd instead of hd

    insert your recovery cd then restart you notebook, when it restarts the recovery cd will pretty much start to restore its self
