Hi, Whenever I start up WinDVR 3, it mutes my volume controls for MIDI and CD audio, and, when I exit, it mutes my master volume control. My system configuration is as follows: CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2400 Mobo: ASUS A7N8X Deluxe RAM: 256MB Atlas Precision Brand PC2700 + 512MB Kingston PC2700 HDD: 40GB 7200RPM Maxtor IDE GPU: Chaintech GeForce FX 5200 Audio: nForce built-in audio (5.1 analog to Creative Inspire 5300 5.1 speakers) If it matters, I get my TV signal over a composite cable connected to a DirecTV receiver, and I get my audio signal over a RCA-to-miniplug Y-adapter connected to the same receiver. Are you useing the "Line In" Input on your Sound Card for Audio Capture?? WinDVR 3.0 expects that you will be useing the Line-In or AUX-in so that is Maybe why it mutes all of the Other Inputs because they can cause audio Interferance...
