system32 rundll32.exe

    Running windows xp home edition with 2 user profiles. On one user profile system32 rundll.exe application not found keeps popping up when trying to access certain files and programs. I have tried to download a fix but because of the problem I can't open the downloaded fix.
    Any ideas would be appreciated...Thanks

    have you tried system restore to before the problem?

    yeah but the option does not go back far enough

    make a new profile and transfer everything to it. see if the same problem occurs if not then delete the old profile
