t.v software

    I'm looking for a program that will let me watch t.v. on my windows pc. I live in the uk so if you know any software could you post it

    okay well first of all your problem lies in the fact that it is not software that will allow you to watch tv on your computer, its the connections. The tv areal will not fit into your computer as of yet (i dont know the latest designs), there are external computers of sorts that allow this to happen but they are expensive.

    But if you look around on google you can find lots of software that lets you watch tv on your pc but i dont know which one will work best for me.

    haha right, i thought you meant watching free-to-air on you computer :p Iam not 100% sure but I think if you have a look at downloading sites and see what reviews the products get from different places (downloading sites because people there are less likely to be bias)

    depends on your hardware. do you have a tv tuner card? a satellite tuner? some kind of component connection hub? we need to know.

    Actually I've been watching online streams of TV via a few PC's that have no sort of TV cards in, using software like TVU player .. (google it)

    The method is 100% legal, what people stream may or may not be, but thats there fault & not yours, you can go a few steps further but without a built in TV tuner your best bet would be to watch online streamed TV, if you don't mind the small investment of a TV tuner for PC then grab one :)
