I have a bizallion songs, maybe 6000. Out of those i must have some copies and most of my songs dont have proper tags such as idv3 or something. Im not a pro at this. I bassiclly want a programs or programs that will tag all my songs and rename them because the naming is wrong for instance for mariah careys say something song it will be "Mariah Carey-Say something" if i get that format for all songs its good or 1 universal thing. So like all the songs can be like the first name and then author or vice versa. So i just want a program that can do this for me and filter all this stuff, delete song copies, and fill in the blank tags in the songs. Like i have songs that only have song name and artist it would be good if some program could pull the album and other info not for a few songs but for all my songs which is like 6000.
as far as I know there's not really a program that smart or advanced that can do all that you want...you're going to have to do it in stages. first find and delete your duplicates, then arrange them in their proper folders like artist/album or whatever. then you can use Tag&Rename, which is the best mp3 tagger there is, to connect to the freedB for each album, and automatically tag the files, and rename the files to whatever you want.
