    Nero 6.6.1.4

This version of Nero contains some bugs, uninstall, run this clean tool http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/en/Clean_Tools.html and then install this more stable version, BOTH packages

    http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe

    Package 2
    http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe

Your DMA needs to be on, heres a guide to turn on
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038
Something is really chewing up your memory, dont multitask while burning..turn off all unnecessary programs.

You're using good media and firmware is current, hopefully the change of Nero will fix the problem.

I am still Having problems. I have try to turn dma on But cant figure it out. When I go to do it my menus are verry different from what i can see on your explanations. It keeps trying to burn at 4x when the dvd is for 16x. There is a label on the Dvd that says that this dvd is dessingn to write at 16x and my dvd recorder (Memorex dvd +-/ DLRW1 F16 is suppoose to write at that speed. If i try to burn with an HP dvd it would copy it but the play back is Jerky and also freezes.
Here is the last log when i try to burn using the taiyo yuden dvd

    Thanks in advance

Gwedolin is correct..... you have to get your DMA back on.... here is how to do it:
    http://my.afterdawn.com/alkohol/blog_entry.cfm/231/dmaissues
use this guide or Gwen's guide.... does the same thing! PIO mode will give you errors..... so until you get this done you will have problems!

Edit out your serial # before someone uses it! the edit button is at the right hand corner of your reply! your serial # starts with 1A20-****

Uninstall [bold]InCD[/bold] this will also give you problems and errors when you try to burn a DVD!

do everything that Gwendolin told you and you'll be fine..... just don't install InCD! and you must free up memory or you'll fail, too! Installing more RAM would be nice!

there's a little icon in the right hand corner of your reply..... hit that and take out your serial # in your reply. the icon looks like a pencil on paper.
