well...As you know, I am a newbie to video editing. Well...Most of the audios and videos that I make, and the outcome of them are quite unpleasant. There is also something wrong with it. One of the things is the audio and the video out of sync issue. I have spent a chunk lots of time when dealing with this and still don't get it right. So I think I am gonna learn the framerate, bitrate and MS stuff... 1) What's the easier way to fix the out of sync problem? 2) How do you calculate the framerate and bitrate stuff? 3) How do you know how much MS delay the audio and video? I am kind of so confused about this. Hope somebody with experienced could help me out or if some experts could shed light on this, that would be great.
What is your source? Are you making avi or DVD? regarding an out of synch avi, you have to be a detective. It takes patience, but you learn how it works. See this thread: http://forum.videohelp.com/topic309224.html Frame rate should be the same as the source unless you have reason to change it. Only choose a specific bitrate if you want a predetermined size. Otherwise, use CQ, Q=4. preload MS delay. I've never touched it - always left it to the programs default (500 I believe)
