ive tryed posting about this before and dont know where else to post as this site is where i get the majority of my answers for things i need to know from. so i was wondering is there ne ways or ne thing out there that will let me watch american t.v on my computer so i can watch the basketball and hockey. Ive tryed some diff media players with video features for shoutcasting but none have wat i want. can someone pplz help me on this or point my towards some more information about this. it doesnt even bother me if i have to stream it cuz my net is 1500k so it will stream it easy.

You could just buy a tv tuner card. Sports might be covered by the tv that you can get on the internet. I've looked through some of it and I didn't find it all that good.

Just go to any online computer store and search for tv tuner card.
They come with a card that you put in your computer that will allow input from cable television sources. If also comes with software (usually) to view and record shows.

You could even go to a computer store and ask.

Also long as you don't care if you watch televison live. Usually a few hours after shows air you can download them from somewhere. I think Bittorents usually have that kind of stuff up before your standard P2P apps/networks

You could do a search for online tv there are lots of free channels I just don't know what the content is like. From what I've seen pretty crappy.

Port fowarding usually only applies to routers.
Sometimes the ports are blocked by firewalls. So what you would have to do is add bittorents client to your allow list.

i have tryed all that im running nortons aint virus 2005 and its got bit tornado on the allowed list. but i still can never get green light some pplz said it could be from my isp blocking ports but i have no idea its way to hard and as ive read jack shit all pplz actually get it to work as it should there like 1 in 10 pplz that get torrents to full at the capacity there net can run at where most pplz are just gettin shit speeds like myself. i dont know why somene has designed a program they automatically configures every firewall and piece of hardware u have to allow the ports u selected for ur bit torrent client thatd be sweet
