OK... sorry no downloaded games. But what can I do with a .tar file? Maybe that should've been the question from the beggining. Cause my file is splitted into two parts and I don't understand how to burn it... could any one help me please and, sorry 'bout my last post
By the way... I opened the file and saw this other files with the extension .r00, .r01 and so on. I'm completely clueless here...
Hehe... I guess investigating is the best way to go. I've finally discovered what to do with the files. Thanx..
he he!!!! i'm glad you think it's funny m8 but i alot of us like this forum! if i was moderator you'd be gone
Oh... don't get me wrong... I also love this forum. I didn't mean to insult anyone... then again... sorry for any posts I've made. I've dug a lot of info from this forums and I really like it. I just thought that sometimes people get annoyed 'cause newbies like me keep asking the same questions. So I thought it would be a good idea to tell you that I was able to do it by myself... now if anyone doesn't know (like I used to) how to manage tar files I'll be glad to explain it here. Yet again sorry if you thought different of my post _ _X_X_X_X_X_[small]Just a newbie in this whole burning world[/small]
you should find 1 filoe with the extension of .rar or .r00 - it will be the one you need to open, if you open it and it has a bin and a cue file, highlight both and drag them to another directory, it will pull all the needed data from all the other rar files and you'll end up with a bin and a cue. the bin is the image, the cue is the layout for that image. if you use nero, go to "burn Image", and direct it towards that cue file, should burn fine. you might need to extract all the files from both tars into 1 folder before you do this.
Oh... just one question... is it ok that my tar didn't come with any bin or cue files... Because the file I received was a iso file... but I guess since both of them are images it's ok to burn the backup with this iso file?
