    Source being a standard DL-DVD9 ripped to 8GB vob files, using DVDRebuider 1.28.2 with CCE, setting target file size for DVD5 still can produce a 6GB ISO, too big for 1 dvd5. So theres no setting for how many DVD5's?
    How you supposed to burn an 6GB ISO to a dvd5 anyway?

    The older versions you could just open up the .ini file in your DVDRebuilder folder and add:

    CCETargetSectors=2269400
    This doesn't exist in the newer version's ini file...
    Thanks

    Unless you choose "no compression" as your target output size a DVD-5 should be the result. I've not heard any instances of DVDRB not hitting it's mark. Which encoder are you using? DVDRB free or pro version?

    Edit:

    That should fit just fine onto a SL disc...here's one of mine.

    Need to look at the new version 1.28.2, there is not a "No compression" option but an option for lossless which is not selected but the iso file is returning out at 6Gb with dvd5 selected...

    Ok, CCE mode is selected, not the "no compression" but the ISO file is 6Gb, so why is that if its selected for dvd5?

    This log says the processing was aborted.

    Was any pre processing done before Rebuilder?

    There's nothing in that logfile stating anywhere near 6GB. My suspicion is that you're talking about the working files folder (though i must admit i've never bothered to check any file sizes in there), obviously once Rebuilder gets to stage 3 it starts sifting thru the gumpf in the working folder and writes to the output folder, which should be the correct size..

    Creaky has it on the nose, you're measuring the size of the working folder. Not everything in the working folder is part of your final outcome. Try letting the encode complete before checking for size and once you do look in the working folder and you will note that one is probably a D2VAVS folder that you can now discard. What is left is your encoded movie.
