I have just noticed 2 icons on my system tray/task bar in the bottom right of my screen (next to the clock). One is a shield shape with a red clock and the other is a yellow triangle with an exclemation mark. A bubble keepes popping up saying i have trojans and spyware but when i click on the bubbles it just takes me to different websites asking me to download their virus protection software. How do i get rid of this as it is making my computer go very slow and its very annoying. Any help would be appreciated. Many Thanks!

i have the same problem. My thread:"I have a trojan that doesn't go away with norton AV or with spydoctor". Receiving good help, but still working out how to get reed of that. Look at my thread if it helps. You can also try to compare my Hyjackthis with yours to try to find common errors. Good luck!
ive fixed it now. i started the computer in safe mode then ran SmitfraudFix. then i came out of safe mode and restarted windows normally and installed SUPER anti-virus free edition. then put the bad files in quarentine then restarted the computer now everything is fine.
