I got a bunch of TDK cd-r's today, i ran cdr-identifier on them, this is what i got: ATIP: 97m 15s 17f Disc Manufacturer: Ritek Co. Recording layer: Dye (short strategy; e.g. Phthalocyanine) Media type: CD-Recordable nominal Capacity: 702.82MB (79m 59s 70f / LBA: 359845) On the box its written: TDK 700mb 80min x48(its blue box with picture of colorful bright cd on it). also written on it: MADE IN TAIWAN Anyone had any experience with this brand of cd-r and has comments? Its important because i want to burn data for a long time on it.. Thanks
Well, by the cover of it, it doesnt look like the speed-x cds.. its looks like a really cheap substiture or something, with all sorts of bright colors.. too bad i dont have a scanner and i could post the picture.. anyway, does anyone mind posting their TDK speed-x ATIP ? or any other TDK (manf. Ritek) ATIP ? i'm curious if the cds i bought are good or just a cheap substitute... thanks
There are a few Ritek made TDK's on my list -- http://mossop.legs-world.co.uk/CDRDatabase.zip Note: The SpeedX 52x ones appear worse than the 48x ones - they give the same results at speeds above 24x... I like to do a few discs for each of these results, and I dont have a > 24x burner, which is why this info is not reflected EDIT: WTF??? The link had changed itself to http://media.fastclick.net/w/get.me...ttp://mossop.legs-world.co.uk/CDRDatabase.zip but now I go to edit it, and it is back to normal. *Wierd*_X_X_X_X_X_[small]: DO the things that people say you cannot :[/small]
