    OK now im confused. Ill listen to the DDP cuz he's the mod.

    Anyway, we've compleatly gone off topic.
    -----------------------------------------------------------

    Which chip should i get? Crystal 2.0 or DMS4 Pro SE? they both sound great. Will the latest version of the hacked firmwire let me do alot of things?

    Let me make this clear and simple...

    I suggest you get the Crystal Chip, because it can play off the harddrive also, but you will need to launch the HDLoader off the memory card or CD, to use it. To play online, you just backup the game, and play as normal, no DNA patching required.

    If you get the DMS4Pro, you can play off the harddrive instantly through the ToxicOS, but to play online, you MUST patch the game DNA before you can play online.

    The choice is up to you now, as I stated above ( my choice would be the Crystal chip )

    1.Does Crystal Chip 2.0 have region forcing? Cuz im not choosing it without that

    2.Does Crystal chip 2.0 have USB support?

    3.Does Crystal chip 2.0 has HD Patching? (Like patching HardDrives for online use with FF ONline and harddrives above 120 GB)

    well, i do not know any good chip that can not pay all regions as far as games.

    Not sure about the other two as i do not have one and do not play PS2 online.

    The topic was if TM was a reliable source. Hence the name of the title. You went OFF TOPIC by discussing what chip was best. Basic logical reasoning would render this thread off topic once you went to the mod chip discussion.

    Does it have harddrive patching?

    Does it have region forcing?

    As I said before, the Crystal chip patches the game DNA to play online. Including HDD games, and both DMS4Pro and the Crystal Chip have region force which can be selected in their menu. All these information are on their site/forum... Also they both support HDD larger than 120GB.

    I suggest stickying this, or summing it up and stickying it. I've been back and forth and back and forth. This is the most succinct discussion of differences (which at the dms/crystal/matrixinfinity chip level is the only thing that matters) that I've found across 4 different web forums.

    Incidentally, I've got a v9 w/hd, and this has helped me decide to go with the crystal.

    Thanks for putting up with that guy's incessant, persistent questions. It helped me a lot.
