hi a mate of mine has one these free for view boxs i've done a scan on it and it find all the sky moves and sport and the likes of uk gold and music. it give me all the info when i press the epg, but it wont show me the channel and notthing comes up on the screen. any help would great on how to get these channel to work thanks
technomate 1000d is a sat box and u are not allowed to view sky movies or sport as they are encrypted unless u have a paid up skybox,
Hi You can get a Patch for this receiver which will let you watch various channs on different Sats, but not sky channels. You will have to do a google search for 'Technomate forums' and links from them to find this info and what a patch is, unless you already know. jbvid
