i am totally new to this and i apologise for my lack of knowledge. i really need some help and cant seem to get it or understand it anywhere. ive just bought a technomate 800hd, i have it connected to my sky dish and the internet via ethernet, i want to know what do i do to setup my box

i have no idea how it is done very hard to find a step by step for technomate 800hd, i want to get my sky how do i configure the box?? i want to get a cardshare subscription but dont know how to set up the box to do it. i want to buy a subscription online which they give me clines?? or something?? thank you in advance

also connection to internet pay servers is highly illegal and extremely dangerous. however you want to give your credit card details to gangsters then you pay the consequences. as dubdave suggests you have a lot to learn

 

thank for your help i appreciate it dubdave, @ fintanni im not going to buy my sub form some gangsters, i have some one in my neighbourhood who will supply me with the clines?? jus wanted to know how to configure my box to use them as ihave this box but its brand new so have no idea how t set it up, my dish is a sky one which was set up on my old sky box, so i removed the connection from my sky box and connected it too the tm800hd.....thank you again

 

on that count the technomate does have cccam capability?

 

Ok this thing to find out is has your box been jtaged yet, tm recalled all the tm800's about a month a go to increase the speed and iron out a few bugs. Has this been done. If it has then it should come with the latest firmware installed. I think this has the options to download cccam straight away. If not youll need to flash the box, download latest software to usb stick and stick it in the front usb slot. Turn box on and on again. When turning the box on quickly push the far left little round power button about three times, it should come up with a message on the front saying miniroot. Then click the ok button (maybe menu) and if the software is found on the stick it will start to flash the box.

On another note there are support forums for tm800's but you need to google for them and most dont allow chat of cs.

You need to do some reading. You probably have image on box already. You need cam to operate
c-line. Will PM you link

Look in menu for on-line updates. Make sure box is connected to router. If Cccam 2.13 or 2.14
are listed your box is up to date. Select either Cccam to download to your box.
You should read thru Piopat's dream thread. A lot of the basics are same for your box

hi all im having the same problems trying to add a cline to my new tm 800 hd i have connected box direct to my router and run a network test on box its showing everthing connected i used the mini web if thats what its called where you type your box ip into your browser and added cline using the add line feature but it dosnt seem to be transfering to box when i go to softcam setup on box and scroll down to select card server its just showing none can anyone help please by the way i was only trying with one of them test clines

 

Try transferring cccam.cfg file containing c line with ftp software like filezilla. Forget miniweb its crap on TM800HD

 

flash fxp is easy peesy, and why would you buy a box that you dont understand?

did you get set up, these boxs are not just plug and play but they are not really that hard once you get a basic understanding.

 

i have set it up on my sky dish and am getting all free to air but i tried to add a test line using the mini web but it never worked not sure if the line was added as when i pressed blue button and looked at the cccam server it said none i am also running cccam 213 i wanted to download 214 but it dosnt give you the option on blue button downloads its begining to do my head in could have got the same with a cheap free to air reciever from aldi thanks anyway

 

Did you put the image on your box yourself? Hopefully you know the box password ect. Use a program called dreambox control centre or dcc for short. Get access to our box by putting your box's ip address into dcc and then the password. If you get files on both sides on the page then you have everything correct. To manually add a c line the file you want is in /ect and its called cccam.cfg. You right click on the file and edit it, copy you cline into the file and then save. You can check if you have any connections by putting your box's ip address into your browser and add :16001 this should then tell you if you have connections. You need make sure your box is connected to your pc via a router ect.

 

thanks for that mate all sorted now using dcc like you said i would have thought the trader i bought it from of ebay would have advised me to use that. picture is not that sharp on these tm boxes though some chans look like there slightly jumpin do you notice that on yours
