First of all you need to mod your Gamecube. I recommend you buy the Viper GC chip from www.divineo.com. On the other hand, your only 13 and you have to solder the chip on the Gamecube board...I suggest you go see a professional. It will cost you about 100$ to get your Gamecube modded...Once done it will be easy to backup and copy games.

If you get your chip installed by an installer your cube will not get messed up. If your dad knows how to solder it will not be hard for him. He can find instructions for doing so online. Good Luck!- I wish my console would have been modded when i was 13! that rocks!

Cowmoo: a modchip is NOT required to play backed up games.
It is however the best method overall.
You can do a soft mod using programs like Anaconda or GCOS.
    What you'll need
PSO BBA adapter (for ripping your games)
Action Replay + official Nintendo 59 memory card or Max drive Pro

The only downside with the softmode is play back of all games is not 100%. Where as with a Viper or Qoob modchip pretty much everything works perfectly.

That site should have all the info you'll need on the different methods.
