Is anyone else having problems with the online portion of the game? It's as though I can't connect to anyone. If anyone wants to play a game seng me an friend invite so that we can play.
It's a lot better today. In my opinion the lag is horrible which makes the online portion horrible. Kind of sad seeing how long I've waited for this to come out.
I had a few problems with it, but it was mainly when the room creater would leave, it would boot everyone out... Alot of people seem to not have patience to wait for everyone to enter... The lagging is probably from some people with slow internet connections or bad ping times hosting rooms... Since Im on that subject... Please if you dont have atleast cable internet service with good ping time and good internet speed up and down, please dont host a room....lol.. Because for those with faster connections it causes us to lag out the azz.. Test you ping times on a test site. If your getting over 100ms than it wouldnt be a great idea to host rooms... So if you live out in the booneys with dial up or satellite its not a good idea....And yes I said Satellite, ping time on sat is usually over 500ms....Im not trying to sound like a d*ck but it just sucks when we get disconnected or booted out the room..
Are you guys from the US? I cant find the online feature on PSN. Isnt it out yet in Europe? If not anyone any idea when?
its actually pretty good for me, i had to enable dmz mode for my ps3 on my router and now it works like a charm for joining games. EDIT: well it works most of the time now and i get disconnected every once in a while.
Im in the US.. Ive played some guys that claim to have flags on their profile from overseas.. Dont know if maybe they have a US account....
It's funny whenever I beat the host of a room I get kicked. Scrubs that can't take a loss are funny. If any of you are looking for a challenge please hit me up with a friend invite. I dont throw people out of rooms for beating me.
hey guys i have a good connection but still i get the lagging. it really piss me off. anyone know how to finish the lagging. my friend told me that its because of the distance from the other countries like us and japan. is there anyway i can get near to them through the modem settings etc etc.
Tekken is region locked as far as online goes. If you have the NA retail version then it will connect to NA servers. Wireless is not good for this game and neither is DSL. So say you live on the east coast and someone on the west coast joins the room running wireless DSL then too many packets are being dropped to remain stable. There is a lot of lag in that game. When the game is running good it is one of my favorite PSN titles.
