    thank you very very much for you help, i actually kept reading and ended up trying divx to dvd which did the job but at the top of the movie i have trial version divx to dvd, but guess i can live with that.
    I will try divxanti freeze

    Their is a freeware version of DivXtoDVD, with no watermarks at all...you should try it out, it is available here on aD.
