Ok I have 5 xboxs and have modded 3 of them myself, the other two came pre modded by a mate, with his mod he has used a thc dash xboxdashdata.17F14D00. my own xbox is also hard modded but when i have tried ftp'ing this dash into the C directory it boots to the start of the big X then the Microsoft logo at bottom then a blank screen, thie dash is a dash i want to be able to use on other xboxs so any help please would be greatful, and please only answers that are sensible!
Whenn transferring dash to a chipped box, you should actually be re-flashing the chip, rather than just replacing the files on C. Both hard and soft mod can produce the same results, but they function very differently behind the scenes.
