I have "The B*x" and it has been working perfectly for me for the last 6 months. Last night it tried to do the normal "Updating" thing which normally means waiting a few minutes but not this time.
All my channels are now showing up "Scrambled or Bad Channel". I switched it off and on and unplugged and tried it again but with no joy. I decided to then go the whole hog and do the factory reset.
I then Autoscaned and all the channels appeared to come back in, I switched the EMU key On and exoted expecting to see all my channels but instead I was greeted with "Scrambled or Bad Channel" again.
This is the 1st time which I have been unable to get the channels back so do any of you have any ideas ?
I mean't to say that I am in Swords in a MMDS area using NTL.

    Thanks in Advance Lads

have you checked to see if there is a cc problem in your area?

I don't think that there is a cc problem as I can get the NTL channels upstairs with the Multiroom

without stating the obvious are all your connections ok ie coaxil into cable input and scart into tv scart on the box.

can you try it from the main feed without any splitters?

Karl, The mmds comes down into a little box with ANT and TV on it, which feeds directly into the box. This is how I have had it for the last 6 months. I do not think that there is any sort of splitter

i'm stumped you say the channels came back allright and emu is on,most times when the box says bad or scrambled channel its either the cables are wrongly connected or its a cc problem in your area.

    Thanks anyway Karl.

It seems to be a bit strange alright. It happened last night and I expected to log on here today to see loads of people with problems, but only myself. That is why I checked everything was in the correct place, rebooted and then ended up doing a full reset and autoscan. The stations came back in , emu on but same issue.

    It is really strange.

would be worth changing your scart and rechecking your coaxil to see is it frayed in any way.

I brought the box upstairs and plugged in a fresh scart and coaxial and redid the scan. The stations came back in, turned emu on, but same problem.

    AAARGH !!

are you 100% sure you have the coaxil in the cable input on the box?

Some boxes on MMDS after latest ECM need a kick start, have you tried the usual press default key and exit to Sly Sports.

Same as usual, menu, type 1570, press default key. Exit out to Sly Sports to update.

Night Karl, I seen that problem in that area today, so hopefully the usual trick will work.
