The best X-box mod chip value?

    I'm looking around for my friend for his x box. I don't have one and know zilch about em. So if anyone out there give me some advice on the best (either price or installation) mod for the x box I would appreciate it.

    First thing would be to figure out the version Xbox he has.
    If it's an older version then you can most likely find an older chip that will work with it for pretty cheap. Either used or new. Most stores have a sale on the older chips as soon as a new one is released.

    Thanks for that but price isnt the real concern its the best value. Which one is the best for most games and is the easiest to use is the real question.
