Hi all. I was wondering why the standby time listed for the phones I have owned are never correct. For example, the standby time listed in the phone specifications might say 8 days or 9 days, but the phone itself, after a FULL charge, and NEVER used in a call, will still lose its battery power and have to be re-charged after only 3 days or less.
This has been the case with every phone I've ever owned and I've had about 7 or 8 of them, all different brands.

Can anybody offer an explanation for this? I am truly wondering if other ppl notice this with their phones. I have a Kyocera Marbl now that I use with Virgin Mobile and the Standby time is listed as 9 days but I have to recharge it every 2 days even when I havent used it at all in a call.
Is my phone broken or is does Standby time mean something different than what I think it means?
