Hi all looking for some help with 2 starview boxes. one is 'The box' and the other is the 'The box Super'. Both were working fine with N@L but now down like everyone else. The Box was runnning API 4.50e_E Boot ver 7 July 2007 The Box Super was running Ver 8.00 Can someone advise what software version for both boxes I need to be running for the current codes to work. you need to go into the first forum that says thursday 18th dec latest fixs here and you will find all the latest fixs there and they all work great a great job by the people on this forum keep it up love it ian

Please Dont bite me. But am I right in saying that all the Downloads on that thread are fixes for the 18th dec problem. The reason I ask is that the Box Super (SV3) link links to a folder full of different boxes. And as yet the box super ver8.oo has not worked on my YouPC connection in Ashbourne Co meath which Scoucer very kindly helped me set up.
Hi guys new here. Im having a problem with updating my The Box Super. Ive used the link Starview Box 3 fix off DesB's 18th dec thread and many thanks for it DesB, but I still am only getting the free to air channels like rte1, city channel and setanta ireland. The box is used on n*l in galway and im using the n*l mmds in galway. I do a scan with the boxes I update using the mmds signal I have just to check to that they are done right. Maybe The Box Super doesnt work on the mmds signal and thats the cause of my problem? I dont know what the original firmware was as I never thought of checking it first but the box is only about a month old and is a genuine box as it matches the genuine description. Any help will be much appreachiated thanks.
This is the fix that you need for The Starview The Box Super, and yes it does get a bit confusing if you don't use the library direct, but when you do go direct to Eamo's FTA Library the link is at the bottom of my post. I tryed them two links Malci but I still was only able to get the free to air channels. I set the emu to on after each flashing. I got the key codes from a friend and inputed them manualy and the box is working. Will the box auto roll next time the codes are changed or will I have to input them again?? Cheers

Ok thanks to everyone again I have the box super working by maual means. But the uk fixes dont work on The box super here in ireland on MMDS. And I know the box super shouldnt work on mmds .... but mine does and is just have to wait on a firmware update.
