    Hello all,

I live in Germany and have just brought 'the Box' back with me. However it is all pre set for UK and Ireland. Does anyone have any idea how I can program it so that it works on the Deutsche telekom cable network?

    Appreciate your comments,

    Thanks

    Barry

    Hi Barry
It is very unlikely that you will get it to work on the Deutsch Telekom frequencies as they will more than likely be different to the UK ones which are unfortunately built into the software unlike the Linux Dreambox type open source boxes into which you can FTP different frequency file lists to the box prior to a scan.

Barry unfortuantely your box won't work at all over there,I know a guy who brought his box with him when he was living in Germany and couldn't get it to work and he tried everything to get it going but to no avail.

Nagra1 was never in use for KDG (Kabel Deutschland).
The box doesn't support the german nagra2 version.

    Switzerland does use Nagra1.

    But all channels are QAM-256 @ 6.900
