hi guys (great site) i have a friend who has the box ireland and he has started to lose a good few of his channels such as sky one, sky 2,vhi plus a good few more channels. i checked what software he was using and it says 4.50 firmware and then vr 7.0 underneath. the box is an original and i was just wondering do i need to flash the box with any new firmware, as far as i can see he has what he needs so what could be causing him to loose channels. he is using decent cables as i supplied him with glod plated jvc. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks steve ps the emu is turned on and when you try to get the channels its just a black screen and after a few seconds bad signal comes up.
He needs to do a factory reset. Scan again on his provider. Turn key emu back on. Exit all the way out, put it on Sly Sports and let it update.
channel frequency change thats all,when u scanned channels before ,they were stored with those frequencies,if channels move frequency ur box is still looking on old info which no longer works,just follow what scouser says.
hi guys thanks for the replies i did find the channels and they just would not come on so i will give it a go. as far as i know i did turn the emu on but i will have a look again. cheers steve
