Hi - I am on chorus digital in Cork city. Hooked it up to The Box but getting nothing. I updated with the latest codes but auto search found nothing, then tried a factory reset but same thing. Can you share what freq's your using & any tips on what to try next? Thanks!

Firstly, you need to ascertain what service you have, MMDS or True Cable. The normal box wont work on Chorus MMDS, it will work on NTL MMDS and NTL True Cable. Their is a BOX T / Eurovox / DDIGITAL which will work on Chorus MMDS. So you need to be sure what service you have...... MMDS or True Cable, be aware that some parts of Ireland have one ariel for a number of houses...

Thanks Mickah - I'm on true cable (just called C****s) to make sure. I've tried to follow some the the advice given here to others but nothing has worked. My buddy has used similar box in Dublin (N*L True Cable) no problem but they've no suggestions on Cork. My last gasp idea is to investigate the signal strength coming in, just in case the little connector adaptor that came with The Box is faulty...is there a way to do this? All suggestions welcome!

Is it "The Box" and what firmware do you have on it. If you have the correct firmware an autoscan on Ch***s, (symbol rate 6875), should do it for you.

Thanks sc0user. It calls itself "The Box". Purchased in Dec 07, has 7 x 25 vents on top. System info says:
    The Box
    API ver 4.50e_E
    Boot ver. 7.0
    5.Jul.2007

    ...your help is appreciated...
