Hi All - hope somebody can help out there - just recieved my Box PVR and followed all the instructions and got most of the channels working however they are in the wrong order and don't match the N*L numbers. I have a starview super as well with all channels working perfectly and matching the N*L numbers - is there a dump somewhere for the DUBLIN N*L channels for the PVR or can someone advise me how to get them to scan in the right order... I remember something about "UPClegacy" for a Kryptview I had... Anyone got any suggestions.. thanks as always..
some boxes u cannot move channels around, older boxes older firmwares u could.newer boxes scan channels same as the cc boxes
Thanks cactikid - I'm pretty sure you can move these around (there's an inbuilt option for editing channels) but i'm trying to figure out why they didnt come in after the autoscan in the same order as The Box Super picked them up - if I dump my channel list from The Box Super (bin file) can i then upload it to the the Box PVR list?
The Super has channel mapping, as have one or two other boxes. For the amount of channels you have, you could use the SVCE, (Starview Channel Editor) and do it yourself.
Thanks Sc0user - Thats what I was going to do as a last resort but I would like to have the channels on both the Box Super and the Box PVR set the same - does the bin file contain the channel frequencies as well/ soory for all the questions lads and lassies just trying to figure this out and learn as I go - where did ye all learn about this stuff?
We dont learn we just blag our way Only joking. Yes the CDF will have frequencies and a lot more. You will find all you need in Eamos at the bottom of my post. You can position channels as you like on the PVR but channel numbering will remain the same. SVCE you will find in the Starview folder, please use the latest version. Have a look in the PVR section jbvideo has a few good tuts in there
Thats the problem and why you have to do it manually for the PVR. Other box channel dumps are not compatible.
Thanks folks - ended up editing the channels on the PVR directly from the remote and the setup menu - couldn't figure out the Channel dump method - I was able to get the finished DAT file from the PVR HDD though... If anyone else wants the channel DAT file for the PVR for N*L Dublin let me know - took about 2 hours to configure in the end so the file could save you a bit of time....
