Hi can anyone help me, all the channels on my box are gone prob due to codes been changed in waterford, and when i tap in 1570 nothing happens. Can anyone help. Cheers
Hi If its a Starview PVR it should Auto Update but its not 1570 for a pvr, its Menu/System Setup/ok/i 2007 and make sure AutoUpdate is on, then exit back out and wait for update. jbvid
Hi Keep trying till you get it right after 'i 2007' you should get to 'CAS SYSTEM' menu when you are doing it right, then make sure Auto Update is on. Have you a signal into the box? jbvid
sorry man what exactly do i? i went to sysytem setup and all thats there is parental control s/w transfer, factory setting,system info and menu lock. could you give me like step by step guide on exactly what i do so i can get my channels back. it is a genuine starview pvr box software on it is 4.00. apperciate it man thanks
Hi Read it again, This repeat IS a step by step guide. In my last post it says MENU/SYSTEM SETUP/OK/ Just 3 key presses ONLY. This should give you (Parental control) menu. ONLY when you have Parental control menu showing press i 2007 on you remote control, this should bring you to the CAS SYSTEM menu, just make sure Autoupdate is ON (bottom item)then exit exit to get out of menu's and await update. It may be worth updating the software goto http://eko.4shared.com/ Starviw_PVR folder for that and documentation how too jbvid
