the box pvr vs starview 4 usb pvr

could someone tell me what the difference is between the box pvr and starview 4 usb pvr.

Not alot the USB you can plug a USB stick in to to save movies to and is easier to flash as you can use USB to flash.

 

also the box pvr has a twin tuner which allows you to record one channel whilst watching another which the starview 4 does not

The Starview Box Twin tuner PVR was able to take a hard drive inside and record from either tuner, sadly not available new anywhere as it has stopped production. The Starview 4 is a single tuner and records to an external USB device, drive or stick.

Think the box pvr has stopped being made and a lot of bugs were reported in it. I find the usb one a lot easier to use as you can just record to usb stick then take it anywhere with you and watch it i.e on a pc or laptop!!

 

What program do you need to enable a recording from the SV USB to be played on a PC?
