Hi all I am new here from southern england and on virgin/ntl and have just made my first post I have been reading this forum for about 2 months and have learned a fair bit from it so thanks to all. I am new owner of a the box pvr just wondered what the latest firmware is for it I have software version E_ver4.500,6Jul2007 I read somewhere there is a 4.51 version? I scanned the channels and found 300+ somwe without names some with and duplicates which I have allmost sorted maybe there is a easier way? been sorting all weekend in between watching movies. I have also had audio breakup on recording and was told to use a splitter to feed the 2 tuners as the passthrough cable causes tuner problems the seller told me. The epg guide seems a bit slow but it works so i hope this will improve with firmware updates
Hi May be u can help me too since u and me r in the same situvation but u probly have answer to my question!! I bought a Starview The Box PVR ready twin" now Its all new to me when i try to auto san it is scaning but no chanals found and at the bottem of the screen its says UNLOCK and i can not see any providers name either can u plez help me Many thanx
