the box pvr

just got box delivered this afternoon and have just unpacked it ready to try it out,unfortunately there was no adapter with it as lead is two prong thingy anyway i have a shaver adapter with 1 amp fuse but it doesnt light up any display-fuse is fine checked that and tried using switch on back of box as well any ideas what could be wrong hopefully its just me thanks for any advice joe

 

looks like i have wrong adapter(used old shaver one)so i need to find out what one i need and what its called,thanks joe

 

You can still use a 2 pin into a 3 pin socket , use a pencil to press into the top one

There is a couple of other ways to do it, the brutal one is to cut the 2 pin plug off and fit a 3 pin one (cables under the black sleeve are colored brown & blue) Or go onto that popular auction site and put 'Euro Plug Adaptor' in the search field (£2/£3 delivered)

hi just change the fuse in the shaver adapter to a 5 amp works atreat

 

thanks for that changed fuse to small 3amp fuse and box now works,some other problems with remote and harddrive but getting there.
