Please someone help meeeee I have spent two days on sorting The Box PVR, I still cant get the secret menu to check if EMU is on. my channels are still scrambled.
I have tried pressing >menu > 1570 >1668>2007 but still nowt I have also tried> parental menu>1570 and still nowt My lcd screen says > init< and when I access the HDD menu it is telling me > no hdd is installed You know the lead strap inside f the HDD does it matter which way it connects
Do you know which way the lead goes? blue clip on the bottom or top? We tried what you suggested and still no secret menu We are now gonna try to change the lead over then try the suggestions I will be in touch very soon
Hi They are all bullshit numbers you have been given for a Starview PVR, just follow my writeup it is also in the link at the end of my post in Starview PVR Documents folder along with OTHER info you need, but download not working for me today so it is pasted below. TO TURN AU AUTO UPDATE ON (Equiv of Emu) To get into secret menu. Specific to The StarviewPVR ONLY Menu/System Setup then press ok when Parental Control is selected, then press (i) on remote followed by 2007, you may need to do this a few times to get the correct speed for entering (i 2007). When you have done it right it will take you to the CAS SYSTEM menu where the only check you need to do is make sure the Autoupdate Option is set to ON. You will never have to enter keys into the SV PVR at all as it always autoupdates so you won't need that menu much if at all. Suggest you get to the Starview PVR, Documents folder next using the link, download and read plenty. http://eko.4shared.com/ jbvid
Thanks for that last reply. I FINALLY GOT IT YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I tried 2007 and it worked. Like you said you have to get the timing right Thanks ever so much as I was on the verge of sending it back
