My PVR is saying no hard drive when I tried to record a programme last night, It took me 2 days to sort the Box out with the help of this thread. Thanks guys, but now the HDD has decided to not work for recordings Any ideas pleeeeeeeaaaaaase
Hi 1. Make sure the pin jumper on the H/D is set to MASTER and the red line on the ribbon cable is at the end next to the 4 pin power plug, also make sure it connected correctly at the motherboard end I think it should be marked on the board (Pin 1 = Red line) If you haven't touched the motherboard end it should be correct. 2. Make sure it is formatted either by using the Starviews software menu or take it out and format it on a PC. 3. Borrow, find or buy another Hard Drive. jbvid
Thanx a million, this one is sorted. Now I have to try and sort my dads eurovox max v which was stuck on "update" on sky sports last nite. can you help? most appreciated
