I have ordered The Box Pvr and I have heard that they are hard to set up. At the moment I have Eurovox Ex 5000 Pvr but the problem is that I need to be able to record and look at other programmes while recording.So I am passing the Eurovox to my Brother in Law and getting The Box Pvr. I would be greatifull if you would tell me how to set up The Box Pvr. Thank You Gerry from Dublin
Hi You shouldn't have any probs at all. You may need to load the latest F/W (Firm Ware) v4.506 Oct which is in the 'eko.4shared' link below. Most suppliers cover themselves by selling the boxes with FTA firmware installed. To find your present Software version press Menu/System Setup/System Information. When 4.506 in on it it will AU (Auto Update) by itself or it used to untill virgin started playing with keys a day or two ago.
