the box pvr

    ive download the software used wrar but when i try to put it on the box it wont go on it

    Hi
    Have a good read in the link below, in 'The Box PVR' documentation folder, then download and install the UK Fix 081208.
    To do this you need a Null modem Cable and a PC with a 9 pin com port

    did it but sill no good got pvr loader on desktop done what it says Connect it PC & STB with Serial Cable
    Off & On with A/C Power on the rear panel.

    Once display on on the front panel,
    Press OK->Exit->OK->Exit->OK->Exit on the PVR.
    got nup to here but no display b-30 come on
    Display B-30 or B-31 ( ready to download

    Hi Chris,

    When you are pressing Ok/Exit are you pressing it on the remote or the actual box? it needs to be on the actual box. After pressing ok>exit several times it should display B-30 or B-31 on the front of the box. That means that it is ready for the firmware upload. Remember to start pressing ok>exit as soon as you switch the box on from the back.
