The box pvr

hey folks, lost my channels for the box pvr, i see that theres new firmware for alot of the boxes but i havent come across a new one for the box pvr, I looked in eko`s lib but thats the firmware i already have on the box. Just wondering do i have to be patient and wait for new firmware or am i missing something, any help would be great, tanx

I just looked and its still there, been there for about a week now
'UK Fix 081208' in the box PVR folder. If you do have this installed it may still say different in the menu Sys. I don't have my S/V PVR now but iv'e read about going into Emu menu and make sure Auto Key Update or words similar is selected and anything else relevant ticked. VM changed keys again yesterday so if you have the new F/W installed the Auto key update maybe off.

Turn on The Box at the back.
Once on, press Menu followed by 1570.
Go into Nagrovision and change the code to B0 B8 4F 04 E6 5F 87 80 and press OK to store.
Exit and it should be working.

 

New to this, any help greatly appreciated.

Does the UK fix have to be installed aswell as using the code or do you just use the code on its own?

If you install the fix you can forget about keys/codes, thats what the fix is for, to Auto Update.
If you don't load the fix you will have to keep finding and entering new keys each time VM have a p**s about. Also 1570 is not for the Starview PVR menu access, only TheBox (non PVR), unless they changed it with the recent new firmware.

hi lads have box pvr and box super few months now no problems till now stations down on both now just get n sy sports xtra live in dublin got help before of yourselfs great help i must say whats the problem is it just mine or what please help thanks lads

 

Thanks pachgeo, that did the trick for me except the access code for my newer machine is "2007".
