"The Box" setup

    Hi all, i bought "the box", im using n*l analogue and cant get any channels, i haven't a clue what to do, complete novice. Can anyone help me please.

    Ok, I have the box setup, I put in the new codes and ran a scan for new channels, its scans through all frequencies and come back telling me that "0 programs found"

    Anyone any ideas?

    Go to Menu > System Information and tell me what API ver is

    Well Celtic,

    I hope you can help

    Boot Ver 7.0
    June 7th 2007


    I have tried everything. Ive gone back to factory settings, turned on the emu, put in the latest codes but when i scan it is still coming up with 0 programs found, all channels fail!!

    Are you sure you have the incoming cable in proper , it goes into Cable Input

    Something as simple as that, yea i had it going into the "ant in". I now have all the channels, but one problem, the sound is very "crackely" not able to listens at all.

    Is this to do with the TV tuning or something?

    Press the Audio button on the remote and see if its set to L and R

    It was set to both L & R when i set one or the other it dosnt affect the sound?

    Are ALL the stations like that or just 1 or 2 ?

    All, i think its the box, while in the main menu its the same, i tried to fine tune the tv a small bit and it help a small bit but there is still no way i could watch it at the moment.

    Maybe its my tv? I have searched all of UHF while tuning in the box so i cant figure it out?

    Have you got a different scart lead you can try , it could be that

    yea, just changed the scart lead an its working fine now.
