sorry if this has been asked before....but i just cant find, or fix the prob anyhow... got starview 2(the box)..last week , first day i got it i was being very curious so i went into the factory settings(dont ask me why).wouldnt let me back out only option available was INSTALL.. so i pressed that ,, now it has retuned all the channells ,,leaving me with no channells whatsoever.like all i get when i turn the box on is the menu pages. ive tried to re tune them, but ive had no joy ....any help would be greatly appreciated cos its doing me head in at this stage ... thanks..
did u have all channells berfore you messed with it. if so press menu1570 then down to EMU and turn on, then exit exit exit
actually it wont let me exit 3 times out of 1570 menu..only twice ,it wont let me exit past the language page???????mystery... it just seems i deleted all the stations off the box ...
press OK to select english. press OK to select installation choose provider select autoscan channels found. Exit back to viewing press menu then 1570 turn on emu Exit Exit Exit.
tried that but when searching it keeps coming up saying failed .. its not finding any channels ... another prob i dont understand i cant get past the language page when exiting, it goes back to that an wont let me go any further....
dont know noel... havent really got a clue about the boxes at all ...... im in dublin if thats any help....
At the bottom of darst`s post above, theres a link for codes. press Menu 1570 nagravision , then you can put the codes in. Then exit exit exit.
tonycu are u scanning from main coaxial feed and not thru splitters or extensions?do u have coaxial into cable input?,have u tried changing provider id to see if u get channels?u do not need to enter codes first as scanning and finding channels and emu to on and updating means it does it itself
got it sorted its back now.thank god..in ireland karl ,, had the in an out cables in the back mixed up ,, so in turn ther was no tv signal ... swapped them around turned on emu an auto installed......all back now just all channels mixed up so ill have fun swapping them around...

thats the good thing about messing around with the boxes you learn how to sort them out, and 99.9% of times you'll get them back up and running with the help of the lads and lassies in here.
