I have a starview i guess nothing else but starview firmare works on its which i dont understand because it says the box on it help would be much appreciated for any help,also ive tried everyone of the box firmware on eamos yet stil nothing ive put the latest firmware on it and on the front display it has 1 green light any thoughts.
dont quite understand you say you have starview2,and you tried to flash it.but no flash worked and you tried flashing with other various starview firmware,is that correct.the only thing i would say is maybe go back to eamos and find a bad flash firmware(this i hope will undo what you have done and you can start again)are you sure of what starview you have and do you know if its a genuine starview or a clone,if its a clone you will need to flash it with clone firmware.you can check on this forum how to spot a clone,one thing you can do is count the vents in my experience the clones most often have 15 vents on one row on the top of your box,and a genuine has 25 vents in a row and seven rows.if its original go for the nearest date to what we have now i would say middle april 09.good luck
Sounds like you have a starviwe model 2 - aka - "the box" Also sounds like you flashed the box with "starview" software (version 1) and that is now locked into your box. Connect your box to your computer as normal,with it powered off at the back,load the gtrom loader with "the box" firmware from Eamos library,Hit the download button on the comp and immediately turn on your box at the back,This should force flash the right file on to it. let me know if this helps.
