I recently got given this digital receiver, i had to order a remote off ebay which came today but i have no instructions.
The problem I would like help with is, is there an easy way to sort the channels I have gone through and skipped all the ones that don't work, I have changed all the names to what they should be but moving the channels manually is taking me forever. I just want to sort them out like Virgin do kids all together movies etc.

Its probably a really easy thing to do and i'm just being thick.

    I would appriciate any help.

    Thanks

I just bought one... with a manual. Haven't tried it myself, but the instructions for Channel sorting are:

Main Menu / Channnel Edit / Sort

    1. Press OK after selecting sort
    2. Sub menu will be appeared as follows
    -Alphabetic
    -TP order
    -FTA/Scramble
    -P-lock
    -Channel No.
select the mode that you want to sort and press ok.
    3. Press EXIT to exit from this mode

Note: The Format of Sorted List
    -Alphabetic: In alphabetical order
    - FTA/Scramble: The Free channels first and the scrambled channels later and vice versa
-P-lock: The channels of P-lock first
-TP Order: The channels of frequency order
    -Channel No.: Channel no order

    Hope that helps.

I am getting the channels ok, but when I go to channel edit, although sort is in the right hand side box, it won't let me highlight it to sort the channels. Any ideas?

I was actually trying to move the channels int an order that was more to my own liking, but I suppose I could just organise them through the favourites option.
