Today my Starview TheBox has kept coming up with 'data is being updated' and gets to around 150% then goes through it all over again. Ive switched the box on/off, left it for over two hours and nothing still. I am a V1rg1n customer
As a newbie to all of this any ideas if there is a 'how to' part of the forum. I have the box, the PC to box cables etc thanks
If you have never updated a box before (Flashed new Firmware On) then click on the link marked Eurovox and it will show you how and what you need to connect PC and Box, okay different box exact same connectivity. When you have the the rquired cable, then click on the 2nd link marked Starview and scroll down the page, or even come back and ask away. All the firmware you will find in Eamo's FTA Library, and it would be advisable to download Winrar and install it onto your PC to unzip any files that may need to be now of future.
Thanks for the info worked fine just one small thing and not sure if this is common but since the upgrade the menu on EPG doesnt show the programmes for ages and randomly disappears. Any ideas?
The EPG on the Starview range has never been brilliant, although you do need to ensure that you have the correct time setting to get it - and if you leave it on an home staion it will gradually fill up more, but as said "never been brilliant".
