The Box Super : downloading 7.09e problem

    Hi. I need some assistance. Connected the null modem cable from my PC to The Box Super. I clicked on the GTRom_Super7 and the following showed:

    The BOX Super 7.09e 17.Jun.2008

    COM Setting
    Serial Port : COM1
    Baud Rate: 11520 (faded)
    STB Setting
    BIN File(faded) Won't allow typing in this box
    FILE TYPE App File Only (Selected) Channel Data File

    I have clicked and selected the 'Bin File' with App File Only; but nothing happens. Please help.

    you need gtrom 8.02e thats the latest firmware

    I was told to 7.09 for the Ireland (Cork area).

    Ok. Downloaded 7.09e.
    Installation complete but get only some of the channels.
    Can anyone please help?

    After updating the firmware on any box, it is always wise to do a master reset then a full channel scan.

    The going is good!!!
    After installation > Exit > Menu > 1570 > Set Default Key > OK > Set Key EMU --> ON then select S*y Sports waited a few minutes for Info update. Lo & behold all channels working. Easy when things work.
