Hey guys, Was wandering if you can help me out. Got a Virgin Media line connected and using the box super to get channels. However, I am aware that theres a problem with this at the moment. I cant seem to get ANY channels - only the freeview type channels! Has there been a fix to this yet? I am not very technologic minded and therefore would appreciate any help! Thanks!! Vijay
Hello vijay, if the box is new then you will only get FTA channels, it needs flashing with firmware, and you are in the UK and yes there is a fix. You will find it in Eamo's FTA Library at the bottom of my post, it is an all in one (Firmware and loader together) you will find it in the Folder marked The Box Super 4th from bottom, click in that and there it is 2nd from top The Box Super UK Fix 301108 click in that GTRom_Super_8[1].02e_081129.zip and download to your desktop. You will need Winrar to unzip it wrar35.exe down load that as well and install it on your PC, you will find that in the Folder Marked Eurovox click in that and it is there at the bottom. Now go to the link marked Eurovox at the bottom of post and have a look at what you need to put firmware on the box (NULL MODEM lead etc.) different box same method and leads, then click the link marked Starview 2nd line at the bottom and you will find a guide to flashing the Starview, I cannot be more descriptive than that, so have a read. When you are ready you can come back for more help there is always someone around to help you.
Your welcome, just have a good read and take your time, you will be able to sort it with the correct lead/s (preferably just a NULL MODEM to box and PC).
