the box super missing channals please help

    got the new the box super, downloaded grom 8 entered code and turned emu on but missing loads of channels, took box round mates house and it had all the channels . ive tried factory reset and still no joy, my mate lives about 4 miles away and it works but round my house missing loads of channels like sky sports 1, 2, 3, ppv sky 1, 2,3 and half the movie channels im on ntl any ideas im going nuts

    Ok Liam,
    need to know the following were abouts are you? and your mate... is he N*L also? will you press menu system info and tell me what it says!

    Ok i have seen this before and it was to do with the signal not being strong enough, if you have any splitters on your coax, remove them and run your cable directly from the wall into the box, if this doesnt help you will need a booster!

    the cable runs directly from the wall to the box so all i need is a normal booster and this will solve my problem ??

    sorry for got to say the cable form the main n~l point is about 5 metres does this make sense

    Do you have the box in a bedroom or in the main room?
    if its in a bedroom try it on the main feed normally the living room, if not yeah a booster will help, pick it up in maplins,or somewere like that!
