i have 7.09 on it as 6.01 reboots as all others do. only 7.09 doesn't. this is the first time this picture freeze and 0 on display ever happened and the first problem in a week i've had but i'm just wondering if it could be a cap on it's way out and it could start doing it more often until i get a new c11.

Have you looked at the cap but it is quite early for this to go. Did you have a power surge or failure recently?

Opening the box may void the warranty though, so its up to you.

well all the rebooting it was doing and the switching on and off on the back might count. it happened 2 hours ago and has been ok since. maybe it was a coincidence and might not happen again. if anyone else with 7.09 ever gets this we'll know but i doubt the cap would be gone already as my uncles clone starview's been ok for 2 years. maybe the power just weakened for a second as that makes it freeze and say 0.

Hard looking through the vents. But it is on the PSU board. Look where the flex entry is and follow along the vents, you really need to open it, to have a good look though and as said if its working now I would leave it.
