Hi quick question, i have received my box today but with no cables. I juat want to make sure this is standard as i can buy them tommorrow.

Hi i have updated my box with the firmware and have connected the box to the tv via a scart lead. When i auto scan NTL it checks 24 channels and fails on all of them. Any ideas on how i can fix this?

 

Just to confirm i just have the scart lead gong into the box, is that all thats needed?

you need to update the firmware, the 7.08 is FTA.
you need the 7.09 Beta which you`ll find in eamos under my sig, in the "B0x super" folder.
You also need the coxail cable & scart connected to the b0x to view channels. All the info on flashing the b0x (cables etc) is in the second link under my sig.

 

hi guys just tried to download v8.00 from eamos library but it says its an invalid link????? whats that all about?

I got it updated and found 178 channels turned emu on and went to sky sports to update but it just stays on 0% non stop, any ideas?

 

menu > 1570
Go to set default key > press ok
Exit to s*y sports.

 

I done that, just done it again, doesnt move passed zero %

 

Turn the b0x off for about 20 secs, turn back on & set the default key again, s*y sports etc. It should update for you now.

Sometimes the sv3 gets lazy & a reboot does the job
