Hi, I hope someone can help me. I just got the Box Super Starview 3 (genuine) and cannot get into the CAS SYSTEM. I've tried 1570 at the menu and nothing. says I have 188 channels but all scrambled. I use NTL cable and have an older box with no problems.
    Do I need to download?

No problem bud! which part here dont you understand?

    Updating Firmw@re

Connect your box and PC with a Null modem cable and switch on the cable box and put it on STANDBY.
(The Starvi*w does not need to be connected to TV to update it with GTROM)

Open GTROM Loader software make sure that you set the correct COM PORT that matches the one that is being used

Make sure App file only is selected, then click b1n File & browse to the firmw@re where you downloaded it to on your PC.

Run the GTROM loader by pressing Download and you will see the % progress increase then Download completed message on your PC.

Wait until you see the DOWNLOAD COMPLETE p0p up on your PC before removing the NULL MODEM CABLE.

    The Starvi*w will then reboot

Disconnect from PC and connect back up to the TV :)

But first you need to download the firmware for super 3, in Ireland use the 6.01 you download it here:

    Did you download Winnrar,
Although I thought it was an all in one download the 6.01

are you using the Null Modem cables or rs232 that came with the box?

If you go to one of his posts and send him a PM I am sure he will sort you out!

Yes, I used the lead that came with the box and used GTRom 6.01e That allowed me access to CAS using 1570. Hope this helps anyone else having same problem.
    Thanks again
